CG RYAN is a multidisciplinary and award-winning new media artist. She works with digital media, installation, and performance, creating lyrically surreal experiences that play with imagination and perceptions. In 2020, her Cinematic VR poetry installation Intangible Windows was featured at the international Patchlab Digital Art Festival and shown at the Vidicon Conference. Ryan’s practice incorporates interdisciplinary collaborations with musicians and poets to create hybrid media experiences, performing with Haas/Razzaq/Weldon experimental free jazz trio for a live video mixing performance at The Fuse Factory in 2019, and with sonic artist Phil Maneri in 2018 at the Beeler Gallery. A Los Angeles native, CG [Christine Guillot] holds degrees from UCLA and ArtCenter in Pasadena, and an MFA from Columbus College of Art and Design. Ryan lives and works in Columbus, Ohio, consulting with business innovation design groups, working with creative collectives, and leading workshops in analog mixed media and Augmented Reality.
