Workshop: Granular Synthesis Basics with MAX

In this virtual workshop to be held on Zoom, the instructor will introduce the basics of granular approaches to audio. Participants will learn basic granular synthesis techniques along with an overview of the its history. In addition, participants will engage in listening exercises and build simple audio applications using the MAX programming language. While this is a beginner-level workshop, some basic digital music production experience is helpful, but not required.
