About the performers
Jacob Wick is a trumpet player and improviser. Originally from the suburbs of Chicago, Wick has lived in Brooklyn, Oakland, and Los Angeles, and has performed with a variety of improvisers and composers in a variety of contexts, including at the Whitney Museum of American Art (US), the Moers Jazz Festival (DE), and el Museo Universitario Arte Contemporáneo (MX). He has performed with Toshimaru Nakamura, Bonnie Jones, Katherine Young, Andrew D’Angelo, Josh Roseman, and many others. He has released recordings on Prom Night Records (Brooklyn, NY), Peira (Chicago, IL), Diatribe (Dublin, IE), and Creative Sources (Lisbon, PT). He holds a BM from Purchase College, SUNY, and an MFA from the California College of the Arts.

Sineqube is the solo project of Kevin P. Holland, a classically trained musician, artist, software engineer, and educator. He has written 700+ pieces of music, shipped seven music applications written in Max/MSP, helped develop and ship six iOS apps, and co-created the NTH Music Synthesizer and Luminth Generative Music System at NTHSynth, LLC. Kevin has taught private music lessons for 20 years, and offers workshops on improvisation and live looping. He has worked in various genres including classical, jazz, blues, punk, rock, ambient, electronic, and experimental. Kevin’s current work focuses on improvised live looping using electric guitar.
