Details:
In this workshop, participants learned about various tools that can be used to manipulate sound, explored how music is a human behavior and is hardwired into our human experience and existence, became familiar with music gear used in field recording sessions, recorded and sampled sounds in their environment using portable recording gear such as mobile phones, and used software and hardware based samplers to manipulate captured sounds.
This workshop was part of our Science of Sound workshop series, which was supported with an Arts Partnership grant from the Ohio Arts Council.
