Musical improvisation is the creative activity of immediate musical composition, which combines performance with communication of emotions and instrumental technique, as well as spontaneous response to external stimuli. In this Improv 101 workshop, instructor Eve Maret guided participants through the concept of improvisation through the lens of electronics and gave them the opportunity to improvise and explore sound with various digital and analog synthesizers, a sampler, and effects processors.
