On the evening of Friday, May 22nd, we were delighted to feature a three-part series of unrehearsed, in-the-moment collaboration between multi-instrumentalist artists Aimee Lee (CMH) and Chris Weldon (CMH), joined by spoken word artist Christopher Appel. This collaboration blended live improvised musical performance with projected animations of Aimee’s animated works.
About the artists:
Aimee Lee is a multi-instrumentalist and visual projection artist from Columbus, OH. She has been a multimedia artist, sound engineer, composer, and performer with multiple artists and bands for over 40 years. Currently, she plays a combination of synthesizers, loopers, and effects pedals to create psychedelic and experimental soundscapes.
Chris Weldon has been engaging in creative endeavors for you to see, hear, taste and recall for several decades.
