ANDREW KOVALESKI is a saxophonist from Columbus, OH and is the owner of Andrew Kovaleski Piano Tuning, LLC. He has premiered works by Charlie Wilmoth, Owen Hopper, and more. He has been active as a contemporary improviser at venues such as It Looks Like It’s Open and The Vanderelli Room in Columbus and through his concert series, Noise on Phelps, in Youngstown, OH. Kovaleski holds a Master of Music in Saxophone Performance from Youngstown state University, where he studied with Dr. James Umble. He also holds a Bachelor of the Arts in Music History from Otterbein University, and has previously studied with Jay Miglia, Wes Miller, and Jean-Michel Goury. Factory Streams: Live Vids for Covid is a live-stream concert series featuring experimental, electronic, free jazz, noise, and other genre-bending musicians based in Columbus, OH. All of the performances in the series will be streamed from our official Twitch account: twitch.tv/thefusefactory.
