In the summer of 2023, we partnered with Ethiopian Tewahedo Social Services (ETSS) to offer STEAM workshops as part of their Youth Summer Enrichment Program. We recruited digital artist Krista Faist, who offered workshops to middle schoolers on how to use voice synthesizing and portrait animation software, and electronic musician Stevie Wymer, who engaged elementary school-aged children in a session about the solar system.
