About the workshop:
TouchDesigner is a visual development platform that equips you with the tools you need to create stunning real time projects and rich user experiences. Whether you’re creating interactive media systems, architectural projections, live music visuals, or simply rapid-prototyping your latest creative impulse, TouchDesigner is the platform that can do it all.

This workshop is for students who are completely new to Touchdesigner or are curious about what it does. Visual artists as well as musicians and writers can all create compelling things with Touchdesigner, so creatives of all types are welcome.

What will be covered:

  • User interface basics
  • Node operators (CHOPs, TOPs)
  • Importing images, video, and audio
  • Connecting cameras
  • Combining media types in interesting ways
  • Creative uses for noise
  • Audio Reactivity
  • SOPs and basic render networks

About the instructor:
Jeremy dePrisco Jeremy dePrisco is a musician and technologist who presently resides outside of Philadelphia. Since 2010, Jeremy’s creative work has focused on electro-acoustic and generative composition and the integration of digital media. Past roles have included sound design for theatre, playing bass and guitar in various bands, and producing recordings for other artists. Jeremy has presented workshops on Propellerhead Reason, VCV Rack, and OBS throughout the electro-music community. Jeremy has been featured on the Fuse Factory’s online concern series, among others. In 2021, Jeremy performed at the Society for Electro-Acoustic Music in the United States (SEAMUS) conference, as both a solo artist and as part of TWELVE, a project curated by CCRMA at Stanford University.
