About the artists:

Violin/Vox/Freestyle Composition artist Mazz Swift engages audiences worldwide with their signature weaving of improvisation and composition. They are a violinist, composer, conductor, and educator whose works include commissions by the Los Angeles Philharmonic, the Kronos Quartet, and the Silkroad Ensemble. Mazz is a 2019 Jerome Hill Fellow and 2021 United States Artist Fellow, working on several projects, all of which are centered around protest songs, spirituals and the Ghanaian concept of ‘Sankofa’: looking back to learn how to move forward.

There Is Hope is a collaborative audiovisual project between Moxy Martinez & Chantal deFelice which combines analog modular synths, field recordings and organic layered video compositions to explore space, deep time, and humanity’s role in the workings of the universe.

Robbie Lynn Hunsinger was a top notch classical oboist before becoming a composer, improviser, multi-instrumentalist, media artist, creative technologist and educator. She is a pioneer in oboe performance, interactive installation, responsive media performance and creative technology and one of the few living artists to integrate, solder and code all of these elements herself.

John Hardin takes the ancient aboriginal instrument, the didgeridoo, to new places via digital technology. His music transports the listener with ethereal, otherworldly soundscapes, organic rhythms and primal dance grooves.
