About the workshop
In this two-part workshop offered via Zoom on January 31st and February 7th at 3pm, participants will learn how to use Unity to pair audio with visual objects and effects. More specifically, participants will learn how to:
- Construct a 3D scene by adding premade 3D models, particle systems, lighting, and materials (part 1 – January 31st).
- Set up audio reactivity in Unity between audio files and visual elements of the scene (part 2 – February 7th).
By the end of the second workshop Zoom session, participants will have a 3D visual environment that is audio-responsive and rendered in realtime.
The instructor will provide participants with pre-recorded audio files in preparation for the workshop. Prior to the workshop’s start, participants must have Unity and Zoom installed on their laptop or desktop. Upon registration, participants will receive an email with details on how to log into the Fuse Factory Zoom meeting room.
This workshop was made possible with an Arts Partnership grant from the Ohio Arts Council.
