Staring Contest: Leia Hohenfeld & Ben Gmetro: Leia Hohenfeld and Ben Gmetro are Cleveland-based multi-instrumentalist collaborators whose work has developed over more than two decades of shared practice. Their music explores the intersection of acoustic and electronic sound, often emphasizing texture, timbre, and gradual transformation. For this performance, they will employ analog and digital synthesizers alongside a range of flutes (bass flute, glissando flute, and piccolo), creating a focused sonic environment shaped by layering, resonance, and subtle shifts in density and space.
Dvvid Watson is a musician and an experimental audio/visual artist who combines field recordings, audio scraps, synthesizers, and effects to create unusual sound environments.
