Details:
In this workshop, participants explored relationships between people, sounds, and spaces using portable microcomputer technologies. Working with microphones, portable speakers, and sensors, and using simple feedback loops and delay lines on embeddable microprocessors (Bela), participants learned about musical and technical approaches for artistically responding to and participating in a given site as a collective. The workshop concluded with the creation of an in-situ installation/performance in which each participant and their system becomes part of a larger, emergent sonic structure.
