Details:
On Friday, April 26th we proudly presented experimental musician/artist Mallory Linehan’s solo project Chelsea Bridge (NY), Danielle Milam’s solo project Versioning (CMH), and David Reed and Ty Owen’s dark ambient duo Fatal Gaze (CMH). Performance took place at the Old First Presbyterian Church.
About the artists:
Chelsea Bridge is the solo project of Chicago based musician and experimental artist Mallory Linehan. She has been carving out a singular position over the years with a dizzying and prolific resume of recorded, composed, and performed music. Her soundscapes and weaving layers are psychedelic in a deeply cinematic fashion; fog music for a deep dark night, for the burning empty absent afternoons.
David Reed and Ty Owen combine analog synthesis and computer based sound manipulations as Fatal Gaze, projecting an enveloping field of dark lingering gloom inspired by horror films, music concrete, and the anxiety of the modern world.
Versioning is Danielle Milam, previously known as Sea Tone. VERSIONING features experimental electronics, noise, beats, and synthy goodness.
