DESCRIPTION:On Saturday\, December 23rd\, we are proud to present multi-instrumentalist/composer Lisa Bella Donna (CMH)\, guitarist Dan Miñoza (IN)\, and free jazz improviser dRachEmUsiK (IN). Doors 7pm\, cover $5. BYOB\, all ages. \nAbout the performers:\nLisa Bella Donna is a multi-instrumentalist\, composer\, modular synthesist\, clinician\, all around sonic sorceress. She currently works with EYE\, Descendre\, Earthquaker Devices\, Simone Weißenfels\, Scotty Bottcher\, Elliot Levin\, Juan Alderate\, Jamie Stillman\, and many musicians and artists all throughout USA and Europe. \nGuitarist D. Miñoza is a sound artist working primarily in the areas of drone\, noise\, minimalism and free improvisation. His work has been described as “Deep\, majestic sound design [combined] with eerie drones and what I can only describe as esoteric melodies\, forming a moody yet beautiful sonic melange.” -Darrel Burgan (StillStream Net Radio) \ndRachEmUsiK combines a plethora of nuanced techniques in order to create groovy and meditative soundscapes; giving structure to improvisation. This style manifests itself into an organic and natural composition of a free flowing design resulting in improvisations and structured pieces ranging from ambient to glitch-groove\, noise to nujazz.
