SUMMARY:Frequency Festival
DESCRIPTION:Frequency Festival is a two day micro-festival celebrating central Ohio genre-bending experimental and electronic musicians\, sound artists\, digital/video artists\, and filmmakers. This micro-fest will take place on May 20-21\, 2022 at the Columbus Cultural Arts Center (CAC)\, is free to attend\, and open to all ages.  \nFestival schedule:  \nFriday\, May 20th \nPremiere of You’re the Diver\, I’m the Water\, a film by Matt Meindl and Krista Faist: 2nd floor painting studio\nDoors 6:30pm\, film begins 7:00 \nPerformances: 2nd floor painting studio\nShow begins 7:30 featuring:\nCircuitry Room + Textbeak (w/visuals by Rachel Rew Wagner)\nDogboy Jam (w/visuals by John Cairns and Doug Leed)\nSubduction Labs\nReon Moebius/Stevie Wymer duo \nSaturday\, May 21st \nArtist talks: 3rd floor classroom \n1-1:45pm: Joshua Penrose\n2-2:45pm: Matt and Nicolette Swift\n3-3:45pm: Dan Rockwell\n4-4:45: Chris Guillot-Ryan \nHappy hour in the CAC courtyard 5-7pm (sponsored by Big Kitty Labs). \nPremiere of Live from Hell + Escape from Hell 2\, a film by Death Grippos and Funeral Snaxx Productions: 2nd floor painting studio\nDoors 6:30pm\, film begins 7:00 \nPerformances: 2nd floor painting studio\nShow begins 7:30\, featuring:\nZayzafoon (w/visuals by Matt and Nikki Swift)\nCaleb Miller Octet (w/visuals by Chris Guillot-Ryan)\nFatal Gaze\nThe Fallen (w/visuals by Billy Gruber) \nThis event was made possible by an Ohio Arts Council Arts Resiliency Imitative Community Projects Award.
