<p>This workshop  is for aspiring Web Designers and/or current Web Designers looking for  an efficient way to prepare artwork for Web Developers.  In an increasingly electronic society, such skills are highly employable as well as fun and full of creative potential.</p>

<p><strong>Learn to Program with Robots</strong>.</p>
<p><em>Unlock the mysteries of programming by having fun with virtual robots.</em></p>
<p>Students will learn how to program virtual robots in an interactive development environment using the Squeak language.  Elementary programming concepts will be covered in a way that is easy for novices of all ages.  This is a beginner class. Instructions are given as if you have had no programming experience.</p>
<p>Squeak is a modern, open source, full-featured implementation of the powerful Smalltalk programming language and environment. Squeak is highly-portable &#8211; even its virtual machine is written entirely in Smalltalk making it easy to debug, analyze, and change. Squeak is the vehicle for a wide range of projects from multimedia applications, educational platforms to commercial web application development.</p>
<p><strong>What to bring:</strong> Students will need to bring either a Windows or Mac based laptop.  A customized version of Squeak will be distributed in class.</p>
<p><strong>Cost:</strong> $25</p>
