About the performances and performers:

Rob Collier is a composer and performer in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Recordings of Rob’s compositions have been released on Capstone Records, auralgamiSOUNDS, Unlabel, WM Recordings, and Greed Recordings. He has collaborated with filmmakers, choreographers, visual artists, producers, and performers in a wide variety of genres. Rob earned his DMA in Music Composition at the University of Maryland in 2010. He holds a BA from Bellarmine University and an MM from the University of Louisville. His composition teachers include Steve Rouse, Mark Wilson, and Richard Burchard. He teaches music theory at Alverno College in Milwaukee.

Ben Aguilar is an adjunct faculty member in Music Technology, as well as Technical Director for the Amy Cralle Theatre in the Wyatt Arts Center at Bellarmine. He specializes in live performance, digital composition, and live and studio recording and production for students majoring in both music technology and Design Arts and Technology (DAT), as well as coaching and facilitating all of Bellarmine’s Music Technology Ensembles. In addition to his academic career, Ben is also an in-demand recordist and live-sound engineer, having worked with Bill Moyers’ Moyers and Company, This I Believe hosted by Bob Edwards, Kentucky Governor’s School For The Arts, the Youth Performing Arts School In Louisville, St. Francis In The Fields Episcopal Church, The Berry Center for Culture and Agriculture, and many more. Ben is also a co-founder and producer of the Outsized Influence Music Festival, which celebrates the Bellarmine musical community.

Coaxing beauty from ugliness, Habiteur works with machinery, junk, repurposed electronics, tapes, and various objects.

Noisteria Emission is the modular synthesizer project of Rusty Skelding of Dayton, Ohio. The sound is a blend of the bizarre and abrasive. Taking cues from the experimental synthesis of the late 60’s west coast and combining it with modern technologies and approach creates a soundscape that gives a nod to the past yet reaches into the future.
