HTML5 + CSS3 201
This course will pick up where HTML5 + CSS3 101 left off. We will not review the new web standards or features, but instead dig right in to tricking out our website to make sure it looks every bit as awesome on an Android phone or an iPad as it does on your laptop. HTML5 will let users do many things in their browsers that used to require plug-ins and lots of server-side code.
This course will focus on interactivity and animation, digging in to the amazing things that can be done with CSS3’s new properties and animations. We will also delve into a few of the interactive features that HTML5 makes easy. Honestly, you will not believe all you can do with a few simple lines of code.
If you are only taking this course in the two-part series, never fear, just come ready to learn and I will have code from the previous course to give you so that you aren’t starting from scratch (unless you want to). Either way the goal of these course is to help you create a personal/portfolio website that leverages the new web standard. So come to class with content ready to put in there including, text, images, audio and video.
This course is ideal for web designers, intermediate web coders or even expert programmers who want to learn all the useful things that can be accomplished right up in the browser using HTML5/CSS3.
