WordPress 101
Learn how to install self-hosted WordPress on your own domain (we will provide a dummy domain for practice). Basic WordPress skills including theme and plugin installation along with information about the effective use of categories and tags. Attendees will get the skills to set-up and manage their own WordPress installations for both blogs and static web sites.
This workshop will be taught by Dawn Friedman, a successful blogger and professional writer whose blog has been featured in such places as Time Magazine and the Washington Times.
What you should bring: Students should bring their own laptops to practice the skills hands-on.
