Enter the wonderful world of computer programming by creating animated 3D movies with the software application developed especially for kids: Storytelling Alice!

This workshop series will cover the following topics:

  • Intro to Storytelling Alice: Introduction to the Alice interface and using pre-made movies
  • Alice basics: Adding objects and navigating the gallery
  • Creating new scenes: Adding scenes and preparing your scenes for animation
  • Basic Alice programming: Adding characters and learning to animate characters and objects

About the instructor:Jennifer Deafenbaugh is a multimedia designer at Blue Diesel and independent animator.  She has been teaching art, design and technology workshops for the past seven years to children and adults.  Her involvement with the Fuse Factory started in the fall of 2007.  She loves learning as much as she does teaching and seeks to inspire and create every day of her life.
