Scratch for Kids Part II – Games!
Location: Wild Goose Creative (2491 Summit Street, Columbus OH – directions and parking)
Time: 1:00pm – 4:00pm

Cost: $25 first child, $20 each additional child (suitable for kids aged 8-15)
This workshop is a continuation of the first Scratch for kids workshop, where participants learned the basics of Scratch and how to make simple animations. In this workshop, participants will learn how to include interactive elements in their animations so they can create simple games. The workshop instructor will also cover basic gaming principles.
Workshop participants are encouraged to bring their own laptops and download Scratch onto their laptop prior to the start of the workshop. There are five laptops available for those who do not have a laptop of their own. To reserve a laptop, please email the instructor.
About the instructor: Alison is the Founder and Executive Director of The Fuse Factory. She has worked with new media as an artist since 1990, and she has taught new media to teens and adults for nearly a dozen years.
