Power tool drag racing comes to Columbus June 20!
The Fuse Factory and the Idea Foundry have teamed up to host Columbus’ First Annual Power Tool Drag Race, an OSHA- terrifying- should- technically- be- illegal- but- for- the- grace- of- Gawd- and- the- Fire- Department event featuring hacked power tools turned into lean, mean drag racing machines, complete with fiberboard Power Tool Drag Racing Track! For the complete lowdown on the event, please visit the Columbus Power Tool Drag Race Official Home Page. Make sure you check out the videos!
For those completely new to power tool hacking, there will be a workshop at the Idea Foundry on the day of the event from 1:00pm to 5:00pm in which participants will be led, step-by-step, in the process of creating a power tool drag racer. All materials and supplies will be provided, and it is included in the workshop cost.
To register for the “Make a Power Tool Drag Racer” workshop, or if you already have a drag racer of your own and you want to just register for the event, mosey on over to the power tool drag race workshop page. If you sign up for the workshop, you are automatically registered for the event itself.
Our generous sponsors include: Ohio Power Tool, C Magazine, C.H. Hanson, Skil, and gokickball.com.
